The Jack & Jill Seat is built so two people can sit back-to-back, facing opposite directions, with a shared table built into the middle – handy for a coffee, a book, or a plate of something off the barbecue without balancing it on your knee. It measures roughly 160 x 65 x 95 cm and weighs around 50 kg, so it sits solidly in place without shifting around in the wind, which matters if you’re anywhere near the coast.

Like the rest of our range, it’s built entirely from solid macrocarpa and assembled with stainless steel fixings, so there’s no plywood, no particleboard and nothing that swells or rusts after a wet Tasman/Nz winter.

Because it’s more compact than a full table setting, it suits spots a standard park bench or outdoor dining set doesn’t fit well:

Built for New Zealand Weather, With Minimal Upkeep

Macrocarpa is naturally rot and insect resistant, so it doesn’t need chemical treatment to hold up outdoors – left bare it weathers to a soft silver-grey, or you can apply an oil finish to keep the honey tones.
