Continuing a Legacy of Craftsmanship

River Rustics was founded in Northland in 2009 by my Dad, Glenn Henderson. When he suddenly passed away in 2020, I decided to carry on his passion for building rustic furniture. Although my background is primarily in dairy farming, I spent countless hours working alongside Dad, learning the intricacies of craftsmanship.

While maintaining the authenticity and quality of River Rustics, I’ve infused my own creative ideas and enjoy the challenges of custom work. Our family business recently relocated to Hope, Tasman, where we continue to operate with the same dedication to quality.

When I'm not building or embarking on adventures with my family, you can often find me out hunting. My goal is to create durable, beautiful pieces that our customers will cherish for years to come. Your positive feedback keeps us motivated and committed to excellence!

Great workman ship Levi. This is my second time purchasing from you. Not only am I amazed on the quality and durability, the personal touches you add to each product, but the fabulous communication you have towards each customer’s as well. I contacted Levi and ordered a plaque for my horse on Sunday and come Wednesday it had already been delivered to waimate. Thank you Levi from River Rustic. I wanted a special place to commemorate the life of my son Zen who passed away 10 Nov 2023. Somewhere was the reserve where he had grown up and spent hours playing. Levi was so in touch with how special this park bench was and his craftsmanship and skill in building such a beautiful bench in native timber in memory of my son is a gift and I am so honored to sit there and remember zen.
